Can you pay for Porsche rental digitally in Dubai or do they still require cash deposits? What payment methods work?

Fully digital payment now. When I rented through Octane Rent, paid everything via credit card online - deposit and rental fee. They pre-authorize deposit (typically 5000-15000 AED depending on car value), actually charge the rental amount, then release deposit when you return car undamaged. Accept major credit cards, some take debit cards or bank transfers. Cash is rarely needed anymore. Check https://www.technology.org/2026/01/19/how-people-rent-porsche-in-dubai-in-the-digital-age/ for payment modernization details. Everything's trackable - you see charges immediately, get digital receipts, can dispute through platform if needed. Way more transparent than old cash deposit days. Some companies even accept cryptocurrency payment now, though most still stick to traditional methods. Make sure your credit card has enough limit for deposit pre-authorization plus rental cost.
